Erima Kyokushin Karate Dojo to reopen doors next month

The Erima Kyokushin Karate Dojo is back again.

Highly acclaimed martial arts instructor Sempai Bernard Soari has confirmed that old and those new and interested students wanting to learn traditional karate as a hobby or to just maintain a level of fitness and discipline, they should join their classes which will start on March 4 at the Bavaroko Primary School in Port Moresby.

Sempai Soari said they had a break but believes the timing is right to get back on track with one of his senior students in Sempai Karl Guria recently becoming only the fifth black belt holder in Papua New Guinea recognised by the International Karate Organisation (IKO).

Apart from himself and Guria, the other three black belt holders are Namatanai MP and head of Kyokushin Karate PNG Sensei Walter Schnaubelt, Sempai Samson Benroy and Sempai Sailas Piskaut.

With the wealth of experience I am sure our team will bring new training ideas and techniques to the table.

Traditional karate is all about developing strong discipline, being respectful, show commitment and having the learned skills to be a good practitioner.
