She has starred in a few commercial in her home country Japan and more recently in Sia’s new Alive music video. However, one of her most famous videos can be found on Youtube where she performs the Shotokan version of Kanku Dai.
Mahiro was inspired to study karate at the age of four (4) by her brother who was a year older. Her aim is to create awareness for Karate to be included in the Olympics.
At only nine (9) years of age, Mahiro Takako truly is the real karate kid and an ambassador of karate.
