The Papua New Guinea Karate-do Federation’s (PNGKF) will have their hands full this year with an array of activities planned for 2013 including an international karate festival.  The activities begin with all training classes to resume on January 14.

This will be followed by the first development squad training camp for the year from February 15 – 20. There will be at least four other camps during the year. Then on April 5 – 8, the federation will host the 6th PNG Open Karate Titles in Port Moresby.

In July, the first ever Papuan Karate Championships will be hosted in the National Capital District (NCD), followed by the PNGKF National Championships in September and the federation’s annual meet and congress.

The year is set to end on a high note with PNGKF planning to host an international karate event, Australasian Karate Festival, in NCD from November 29 – December 1.

The federation has also slotted a number on international and regional events during the year that might attract member participation like the Australian events including tournaments and training camps.

Dates and events will be made available on our calendar.
