March is set to be a big month for martial arts in the country as a number of events have been scheduled.
Firstly, the luncheon of The B-Team film project will be held on the 7th at Gateway followed by the 12th National Kickboxing Championships at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby on the 8th and 9th. The event is set to attract martial artists from different disciplines.
Then the first grading for Mas Oyama Kyokushin Karate Association (MOKKA) has been scheduled for the 10th which will see several students tested and promoted. The last grading was held in December 2009.
Also scheduled for grading in that month is Toogee Taekwondo Club in Port Moresby who will hold their grading on the 28th of March starting at 3pm. The venue has yet to be announced. Following that the regional grading for PNG will be held on the 29th. This will also be their first grading for the year.
