The Papua New Guinea Karate-do Federation (PNGKF) will host a training camp from the 6th – 10th of December in Port Moresby.

The camp will be conducted by Sensei Trevor Roberts, a 6th Dan in Shotokan Karate, World Karate referee, President of the Queensland Karate Federation (QKF) and former Australian coach.

Sensei Roberts also conducted a technical seminar for officials and athletes in the country earlier in the year.

The event is sponsored by the PNG Sports Federation and Olympic Committee (PNGSFOC) and is part of the preparations for the 2015 Pacific Games.

Meanwhile Team NCD has come on top the tally board for karate during the recent PNG Grassroots Games held in Kokopo.

The camp will commence at 8am on Thursday (6 December) and will be held at Lamana.
