PNG Karate team for Oceania meet announced

The Papua New Guinea Karate-do Federation (PNGKF) has selected a national team to represent the country in the Oceania Karate Championships which will be held in Sydney, Australia, from September 14 to the 17.

President of the PNGKF, Carl Mari announced the team as, Quinten Wallace from Bougainville, Dominic Sipapi and Junior Billy from Central, Timothy Alovare from Eastern Highlands, Jimmy Pius from Manus, Jennifer Kautil from Madang, John Watah and Sapania John from Morobe, Julius Piku, John Ali, Doris Joseph and Jason Carl from the National Capital District (NCD).

The team was selected from the development tem selected during the 23rd PNGKF National Championships held in Port Moresby recently. Pictures of this can be found on our Facebook page.

The management team are Team Manager Sensei Luke Goa, Coach Willie Leslie and trainer Ben Bonn.
